UICUF COPE event about educational reform in Illinois

The UICUF Committee on Political Education (COPE) invites you to a Zoom conversation about the Illinois legislative process with Julie Peters, a reform advocate for the state’s Education Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA). The event will take place on Thursday, November 2 from 2:00p-3:30p. Hear about the legislative process and specific ways to advocate for legislation in Springfield. During this event we will also discuss COPE legislative priorities around additional protections for NTT faculty appointments and begin strategizing for legislative support.

The event is open to all UICUF and COPE members. You can access the event here: bit.ly/UICUF_COPE_Hamilton
