Bargaining Update: A Faculty, United, Will Never Be Defeated

We have been notified that contract bargaining will resume June 8. We will meet with management for our fifth bargaining session on Monday, June 8 from 12:30-2:00 PM in Student Center East, room 603 (in the tower) and on Zoom. Please consider attending in person for this session: let’s continue to show management what UIC’s united faculty can do.

Fantastic work emailing and calling Hubert Thompson, Director of Labor and Employee Relations Keino Robinson, Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs Mike Stieff, Provost Karen Colley, and Chancellor Marie Lynn Miranda. Your solidarity demonstrated our collective power and prevented the denial of our right to bargain. We look forward to meeting management at the bargaining table and renewing our campaign to settle the contract we deserve.
