UIC United Faculty and the AAUP are sponsoring a panel discussion titled “Academic Freedom from the Salaita Case to Civility.” The event features Mary Lou Carroll (Columbia College), Leon Fink (UIC), Sam Fleischacker (UIC), Walter Benn Michaels (UIC), Norma Moruzzi (UIC) and Kenneth Warren (University of Chicago). The discussion will take place Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 from 5-7pm at the Jane Adams Hull House on the UIC campus.
